The EU Commission released a proposal for directive today which will change the regulatory platform for biofuels. The new directive will increase the target for renewable energies in Europe and at the same time introduce Green House Gas reduction requirements.
Separately the EU Commission is moving to protect its market from alleged unfair competition from the US in the form of export tax subsidies. The Wall Street Journal report on this aspect of the changing environment and quote Starsupply Renewables in the process.
